Typically, caviar is served chilled and accompanied by blinis (small Russian pancakes), toast points or crackers. But you can eat it with fresh oysters or sashimi.

Here are some steps to follow:

  1. Serve the caviar on a bed of crushed ice to keep it chilled.
  2. Use a special spoon made of bone, mother of pearl, or horn to avoid any metallic taste.
  3. Take a small amount of caviar with the spoon and place it on your tongue
  4. Let the caviar rest on your tongue for a few seconds to fully appreciate its taste and texture.
  5. Then, spread a small amount of caviar onto fresh oysters, sashimi or even sea urchin.
  6. Sip Champagne or vodka, which are traditional beverages to accompany caviar.

Remember, caviar is a delicacy and should be enjoyed slowly and savored.
