Our Highpoint team is HIRING!

We are looking for all sorts of staff, including kitchen hand, sushi chef, cashier, and customer service, to join our culinary team in Highpoint, Glen Waverley, Knox, Chadstone and Crown Melbourne to prepare delicious sushi sashimi for our customers.

If you are interested in the food industry, especially Japanese cuisine, Maguro Bar welcomes you. Training will be provided for the young and energetic junior staff.

Kitchen Hand Requirements:

  • Hardworking, willing to learn attitude
  • Love to develop a career in the food industry 
  • Lives locally 
  • Flexibility to take on various shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • Working hours: 8:00am – 6:00pm

Customer Service/Cashier Requirements:

  • Meet and greet customers
  • Good working attitude
  • Enjoy working in a fast-pace environment
  • Understand Cantonese or Mandarin is a plus
  • Flexibility to take on various shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • Lives locally 

Sushi Chef Requirements:

  • Working experience as a Sushi Chef or at an Asian restaurant
  • Good knowledge of various sushi types and sushi-rolling techniques, carving sashimi skills
  • Ability to work both fast and accurately
  • Flexibility to take on various shifts including weekends and public holidays
  • Lives locally
